The Client

"Client" means the person(s) or business named on your quote or invoice. Where a planner, partner, family member or colleague approves or pays on their behalf, they confirm the Client has agreed to these terms. These terms apply to all phases, quotes and invoices for the same project.

Scope

The fee covers design services for the items listed on your quote or invoice only. Printing, materials, calligraphy, envelopes, wax seals, assembly and postage are excluded unless itemised. Third-party costs such as font licences, stock imagery, website subscriptions and domains are the Client's responsibility. Additional items or changes to scope will be quoted separately.

Payment

Unless otherwise stated, a 50% non-refundable deposit secures your booking and is required before work begins, with the balance due before final artwork or files are released. Invoices are payable by the date shown, by bank transfer or online payment.

Revisions

Two rounds of revisions are included per phase or order, unless otherwise stated. Further amends are charged at the hourly rate stated on your quote, agreed with you in advance.

Proofing

You are responsible for checking all wording, names, dates and spellings before approving final artwork. Corrections after approval are chargeable.

Timelines

Delivery dates depend on timely feedback and content. Delays may affect the schedule.

Postponement and cancellation

If your event or project is postponed, OCO Studio will do its best to accommodate the new date; any resulting updates are chargeable. If you cancel, the deposit is non-refundable and completed work beyond the deposit value will be invoiced. If OCO Studio has to cancel, all fees paid for undelivered work will be refunded in full.

Copyright and usage

Once paid in full:

• Wedding stationery and personal commissions: all artwork remains the intellectual property of OCO Studio, and you receive a licence to use it for personal, non-commercial use.

• Branding and logo design: copyright in the final approved logo and brand identity transfers to you, for use across your business. Unused concepts and drafts remain the property of OCO Studio.

• Illustration for commercial use (for example packaging, products or marketing): artwork remains the property of OCO Studio and is licensed for the uses set out in your quote.

• Websites: your website content is yours, and your website account and subscription remain in your name.

Work may not be reproduced, altered or used beyond these terms without written permission.

Portfolio and social media

OCO Studio may share images of its work on its website, portfolio and social media. Wedding and event work will only be shared after the event date, and brand or commercial work after launch. Addresses and personal details will always be removed or obscured. If there is anything you would prefer not to be shared, or your project is confidential, please let us know in writing.

Credit and photography

For weddings, events and personal commissions, you agree to credit OCO Studio (@_ocostudio_) when sharing images featuring the work, and to ask your photographer, planner and other suppliers to do the same; to pass OCO Studio's details to your photographer and planner; and to share professional images featuring the work with OCO Studio, or permit OCO Studio to request them directly from your photographer. Images will be credited to the photographer. A discreet studio credit may be included on one piece, subject to aesthetic integration. For brand, website and commercial work, credit is always appreciated, and a discreet "Designed by OCO Studio" credit may be included in website footers where appropriate.

Privacy

Personal information is handled in line with OCO Studio's Privacy Policy.

Liability

OCO Studio's liability is limited to the fees paid. OCO Studio is not responsible for errors or delays by third-party printers, couriers, platforms or other suppliers.

General
